Alan Keyes: Crooner

| | Comments (4)

Just as we thought the Illinois Senate race couldn't get more absurd Alan Keyes belts out "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" on CBS 2 Chicago.

I bet this guy doesn't even break 20%!

He's got my vote! Or at least my sympathy vote. Well, actually, I just wish he'd go campaigning on the East Side of Chicago.

And while not related to Keyes' singing abilities, if I hear this guy compare himself to Lincoln one more time, I'm gonna scream. Yes, we all know that Lincoln was born in Ky. and grew up in In., but he moved to Springfield 2 YEARS before running for STATE legislature. Lincoln was a resident of Illinois. Keyes is a carpetbagger.

(For those of you who might not have gotten my crack about the east side of Chicago, check out the Map of the East Side of Chicago.

Minx? Perhaps I'm not up on all the deck terms these days, but I think this is tomfoolery.

I think this guy stands a great chance in the 53rd Ward. I've got the chairs marking out my parking place at my local polling place (St Eusebius' off Worley) already. Vote for Bus!
