It'll Cure What Ails Ya'

Feeling worn out? Too many meetings in too few days? More projects at once than a mere mortal can handle?

If this is how you feel then you need a break. My friend, you need to listen to This American Life. Pick a show from the immense online archive, hit play, and sit back as your imagination is tickled by good writing and the best radio this side of the Atlantic if not anywhere in the world.

If your circumstance is particularly dire, I suggest Episode 241 - 30 Acts In Sixty Minutes. Good ole public radio, always there when you need it.

Yes! There are points in which the art of radio broadcast reaches the sublime on This American Life\xD6especially when they present a reading by David Sedaris. Recently, TAL has developed a more personal meaning for me. As I now spend most of my time working for my masters and getting started on my Ph.D in California, TAL has become a fond reminder of my home state, being produced by WBEZ Chicago. Of course, I still love it while spending the summer in Peoria.
