Thanksgiving break and I'm sick!

Today was the last day of classes before Thanksgiving break and I spent the day in bed with a migraine and a stomach ache. Eventually I got out of bed and played Splinter Cell on the Xbox until Julie got home from work. For an over-hyped video game it is awesome. The lighting effects are everything I would expect from the hardware inside the xbox yet the graphics of non-player characters (npc's for those in the know) are lacking. I definitely recommend it as the best single player game on the xbox to date. Apparently it takes advantage of xbox live by allowing additional levels to be downloaded to the consoles hard drive but there is nothing available as of yet.

Now that I am feeling better, thanks to some liquid Ibuprofen (spelling error I'm sure) Julie and I went to the new laundromat near campus to take of our buildup from the last week and a half. As I begin to look for apartments in the DC area, contingent on the progress of possibility of working at Americans United (more on that as it develops), I am having to think about laundry and grocery shopping in a big city. It is very strange to be looking already but I have to be doing that at this point. Whether or not the opportunity with AU pans out, Julie and I are taking a trip to DC from the 19th to the 23rd of December. I do hope it will be to look for a place to live...

For the rest of this short break I have to keep working on my paper for Political Research Methods and get a draft together of my paper for Dr. Greene's philosophy seminar. Tonight, though, I do laundry and rest. The next few days are more than enough time for work.

Julie just alerted me that the driers are done so I am off to fold clothes.
